I'm looking for something insane.
OK so ages ago I saw this video on Youtube. And it was awesome. And now I want to find it.
But it is SUPER hard to search for because I don't know the damn name of the video or the animator behind it and those things I do know... overlap with two much internet bullshit.
It's a video in the sort of style of Metal Slug like 2dsprite animation. It is a series of insane escalating crazy conflicts between a huge cast of sprites that involves some sort of huge alien zombie space god invasion among other things.
Anyone have any idea what the hell I am talking about and how the hell I can find it?

Reminds me of the Scott Pilgrim game, but there's definitely some Metal Slug thrown in.
Also, thanks.

I remember thinking Kings of Power was pretty awesome when I saw it a few years ago. Watching it again I'm impressed with the little flourishes it uses to parody japanese animation - like all the gratuitous and slightly out-of-place Christian imagery that always shows up in anime (Evangelion anyone?).
According to the wiki article Paul Robertson did the animation for Scott Pilgrim, which might be why it looks reminiscent.

From Mobygames on Scott Pilgrim the game:OgreBattle wrote:I'm pretty sure Paul Robertson worked in the scott pilgrim game
cott Pilgrim vs. The World is a retro-style 4-player side-scrolling beat-'em'up loosely based on the graphic novels by Bryan Lee O'Malley. It is a throwback to 8- and 16-bit era beat-'em-ups, particularly River City Ransom, and features art by popular pixel animator Paul Robertson as well as a soundtrack by New York chiptune band Anamanaguchi.
